The 2017 Yarmouth Relay for Life goes tomorrow at Mariners Centre.
12 fundraising teams will be set up at the arena from 6pm to midnight.
Back this year, the track which extends outdoors, games, entertainment and activities for all ages.
Southwest Nova Scotia District Coordinator for the Canadian Cancer Society Niki Lewis says their goal is to raise $45,000 for cancer research.
"Last year we surpassed that total, which is good. The Lockeport Relay happened last weekend, and it's a feeder to this one. They had one of their best totals in the five years they've been doing it, raising over $20,000."
The funds from the Lockeport event will be added to Yarmouth's total.
Lewis says the opening Survivors Lap starts at 6:30pm, and the lighting of the luminaries takes place at dusk.
The final total will be revealed at the end of the night.
