The Yarmouth Junior A Mariners wrapped up the MHL Showcase in Summerside today with a 4-2 loss to the St. Stephen Aces.

Yarmouth got goals from Kyle Bergh and Brent Broaders, and back-up goalie Thompson Phinney took the loss in goal.

St. Stephen never trailed during the 50 minute late afternoon contest.

Games at the MHL Showcase count toward the regular season standings, and consist of two, 25 minute periods.

Yarmouth won their first game at the Showcase yesterday over the host Western Capitals, their first win away from Mariners Centre this season.

Yarmouth sits at seven wins and two losses, in first place in the Eastlink South Division.

The Mariners are back in action this weekend at the Fishtank, Friday night against Valley and Saturday versus Woodstock.
