A public meeting on food trucks will be held tonight at Yarmouth town hall.
It's to take a look at a request from a local food truck owner to amend the current street vendors by-law.
The change would allow food trucks to operate on private property year-round instead of a period of nine months.
Clark Sigfridson, owner of 'Cafe x Clark' says it's only fair for those who want to work 12 months out of the year, and it's tough for operators to shut down for three months.
Mayor Pam Mood says everyone is welcome to attend tonight's meeting.
"Businesses, residents are invited. What happens is, the changes will be presented, and if you wish to speak to that, you can have the floor."
Mood says food trucks add a lot to the town, but they aren't taxable when they're on private property.
"We love having them here. The only discussion is the tax aspect, they may pay a rent to the property owner. Everything will be taken into consideration."
The meeting begins at 7.
