Someone on the South Shore has an overdeveloped taste for lobster.
Another three to four thousand dollars worth was stolen from a wharf in East Port L’Hebert.
Sometime between the evening of Sunday February 20th and the morning of the 21st, four to five hundred pounds of the crustacean was stolen from secure pens.
This follows two thefts earlier in the month from a wharf in Port Mouton.
At this time, it isn’t known if the two incidents are related.
Police are advising anyone who sees any suspicious activity around commercial boats or wharfs to contact them or the Department of Fisheries immediately.
