The licences of Gerry Webster and Unity Realty doing business as Realty Executives Saint John have been suspended by the Director of Consumer Affairs for the Financial and Consumer Services Commission.
Webster, the agency’s licensed manager, is the subject of a disciplinary hearing before the New Brunswick Real Estate Association. He has been a realtor since 1985.
Audits on Unity Realty’s trust account revealed what are described as irregularities which Webster has not responded to.
Webster was the sole manager of his agency located at 33 Hanover Street in Saint John. Therefore, with the cancellation of Webster’s licence, the agency’s licence was also cancelled. Under the provisions of the Real Estate Agents Act, neither Webster nor Unity is entitled to apply for a new licence for a period of one year.
Consumers who have a real estate listing with Webster are strongly encouraged to contact the Financial and Consumer Services Commission with any questions they may have.
