The co-chair of the Yarmouth County Community Health Board says they continuing to grow and build with their focus on food security.
The Health Board will host its third event on educating the public and developing plans for safe, affordable food.
It takes place Tuesday, November 27th at 6:30pm at NSCC Burridge Campus and is titled ‘Thoughts for Food – Momentum’.
The board’s co-chair tells CJLS News, there will also be an advocacy piece.

The forum will features public health nutritionists Jane Cunningham and Heather Baillie with a session called “Taking Action to Improve Food Access and Food Security: What’s the Evidence?”
There will be an update on the Yarmouth Roots Community Garden and a session with Kolby Mole on ‘Slow Cooked Dreams’.
