Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend.

Thursday, March 11th 2010

Daylight Saving Time comes into effect at 2 a.m. Sunday March 14. It's also a good time to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon dioxide detectors. In 2007 Nova Scotia extended daylight saving time to match changes made in the United States. Daylight saving time begins three weeks earlier in the spring and lasts one week longer in the fall.
